Just popping in to give you a look at my new ACEO/Artist Trading Cards currently up for auction on eBay...
I absolutely adore working with the vintage children photos ~ It's so much fun looking at their adorable little faces and imagining what they could have been "saying." The clothing they wore back in those times is just fascinating to look at too. There is such attention to detail such as the lace trims and pintucking on the garments. I find it all so...charming!

Playing with Paper Clay & New Altered Art
I have to thank Kim for encouraging me to try playing with paper clay! You should see what this gal does with paper clay ~ you can take a peek here: Kim Hardt Originals
This was so much fun, and I really surprised myself! Here's what I made...

It will make a cute doll accessory. Now to just make the doll! LOL!
I was finally inspired yesterday to finish my mixed media "Harvest" collage canvas. It measures 11" x 14", and provides quite a splash of color! It transports me back to my birthplace in New England, where Fall colors are so vivid as to be exhilirating. I miss the North the most for that particular time of the year. It's listed on eBay this week.

Featuring This Week's Punch Needle Embroidery by my 2 Sisters
I missed "plugging" my two sisters' punch needle embroidery pieces on eBay last week ~ BAD sissy! Sorry for all of you who enjoy looking at their beautiful work! My Atlanta sister, (Kindred Spirits Mercantile), not to be outdone by Virginia sis' new and creative ways to display punch needle embroidery pieces, has one-upped her this week. She has designed, drawn out and punched a couple original pieces! The witch flying across a moonlit night sky, is mounted on a horn book. Also her design are the Halloween ornies (which she says she will never do again because they were a huge pain to turn and stuff). I was very impressed with her efforts! Here is what Atlanta sister is offering on eBay this week:
I just love that "Parson Brown" snowman piece! Lucky me, sis did that one for me last Christmas! You can view her auctions in detail at the link below...

Virginia sis has had a busy week punching away. She has more Halloween themed pieces this week, as well as a primitive sampler and a fraktur bird piece. I just love the bright and cheerful colors in the pumpkin mat!
If you'd like to take a closer peek, you can see her items here:

What am I doing? Not much. I seem to have hit a creative brick wall. I've been trying to finalize an altered art Fall design on canvas. The canvas has been painted burnt umber, but sadly there it sits. I wish all the ideas I have swirling around in my head for this piece would gel and introduce itself to me!

Our Garden in South Carolina
I have to admit, it's pretty challenging between the hard clay, and hot-hot-hot and humid weather to garden in South Carolina. But with no relaxation of effort, this is what our garden looks like this year...
